Loudoun County PE Department Teachers Prepare for Back-to-School

Elite Wellness provides training at the 2024 Loudoun County Public Schools’ Physical Education Department’s Professional Development Day.

The Loudoun County Public Schools’ Office of Health and Physical Education organizes Professional Development sessions in Ashburn, VA for all Health & Physical Education teachers as they return to school each year. On August 15th, 2024, LCPS teachers had the opportunity to participate in sessions offered by Elite Wellness.

During the hands-on sessions, Mckenna Smet and her team provided valuable suggestions on weight training, including hand placement, weight limits, proper form and technique, effective spotting, and proper cueing to ensure safe and efficient workouts. The interactive nature of the training ensured that teachers left with practical insights to immediately implement in their weight rooms.
