TYLER KNAPP

Tyler Knapp

Tyler has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science from the University of Alabama.

He began playing organized sports at the age of 4 and continued throughout high school where he played football, basketball, and baseball. In college, Tyler participated in an intramural basketball league and many charity basketball tournaments. He coached youth basketball for three years and enjoys working with athletes. During college, Tyler learned to play golf and has since developed a love for the sport.

Tyler is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is CPR and AED certified through the American Red Cross. He has completed internships at two physical therapy offices where he gained insight into how to rehabilitate patients, with a focus on injury prevention.

He has always had an interest in how fitness and exercise impact mental health and plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Exercise Psychology. Tyler also has hope to one day achieve a doctorate in Physical Therapy.

In his free time, Tyler exercises almost everyday and enjoys playing basketball, golf, fishing, and hiking.
